This song is about a person's individual experiences in life and how each of us have our own special way of communicating with the the great spirit, our personal focus of worship, our GOD. Whomever or whatever we choose to believe in is not important. There's a vague line that seperates good from evil. It's the morals and laws we've learned to obey that force us to stay within the boundaries established by those before us. This is basically a message to GOD asking to be rescued.

Another blackened day, that gray clouds pass my time away, a misty darkened sky, the fog creeping low. I sit alone and wonder how many times i've heard the call, once again i turn my head and step back from the wall. You see me laying there, big green eyes and long brown hair, through the pain I feel I try to hide, the memories of an abandoned life.

Give me the strength to say, I'll make it through another day, and when I feel I need to cry, I'll look to you to dry my eyes. When I'm alone I'll pray to wash the evil sins away, dream of walking hand in hand as lonliness falls behind.

Theres no place I'd rather be than in your arms and in your heart. Sharing dreams through the loneliness of being so far apart.

I see a brighter day, all the fears of life will fade away. Temptations that we face, destroyed by their own lies. A warming touch to ease the pain, the confidence to hide the shame. Never will i fall again into the hands of fate that ruled my life.

An inner light flickering low, revealing scarred lives I've known. As time repairs the wounds, another feels the blow. For some the light will fade and die, a grim reflection of a lost life. For those that find the way, the light will burn and grow.

I've lived two lifetimes and again, as one dissolves a new begins. If I ever stagger, tray or fall, I just look up to the sky.
